Within the grove is the 1800 yr. old Grizzly Giant, the 25th largest tree in the world. There are a number of interconnected trails at Mariposa, and once we got away from the main parking area, it was easy to lose the crowds & find some solitude, with no shortage of colossal, ancient trees to gaze at!
